Hector Guimard’s avant-garde Paris Metro signs are a work of beauty. Commissioned to make the above ground entryways as aesthetically pleasing as possible a total of 141 were built between 1900 & 1912 with 86 still remaining today. Salvador Dali called them “Divine entrances…”
