not knowing who Ed is is *shocking*. wrote all the best stuff on city metric! once ranked all 63 ways of crossing the Thames in London! subjected the tube lines to Myers-Briggs tests! you'd love his work

Wood Green has calmed down a lot in recent years, it certainly isn't the same draw for me anymore since the HMV went. I agree with you though as so many bus routes terminate in both Wood Green and Turnpike Lane. Can get buses to almost anywhere in North and Central London from there!

Same with Stratford and Harrow on the Hill. Even at 11pm on a weekday, so many people around! I think Inner London is hollowing out as housing is so unaffordable though. Would explain Wood Green, seems like less young people around now. A lot of people being pushed out to the shires like myself.
