It’s too embedded within the UK, too divided within itself and currently too disinterested to be independent in the near future.
Dyfal donc a dyr y carreg but alot of tapping before any cracks appear I think
I live in England although I identify as a Pro European Brit but actually think that both Scotland and Wales would be better off as independent nations.
As an English man I love Wales being connected to England and have many selfish reasons to want you to stay in the UK. But as a socialist I feel your need to break away from Westminster. I therefore support your wish for independence and if it happens will miss you. You are not too small.
Wales - and for that matter Scotland - needs to get real; Westminster has no intentions of allowing either country to be independent. Ireland forced itself out of the UK in 1922 and NI currently while peaceful, has a strong movement in place for secession from the UK in the next decade or so.

Go for it!
(Welsh on my mum's side, Scot on my dad's. Not a big fan of the English, TBH)

And with far more natural resources too, I reckon...
Yes, we can be #independent. England too.
Let's go for it
Population 3.1 million

Iceland 🇮🇸
Population 376 thousand

Uruguay 🇺🇾
Population 3.4 million
GDP 56 billion dollars
Croatia 🇭🇷
