Meaningful action is 💯 in their purview but this government won't act. 7 years on, they've chosen staying in power over doing the right thing on housing. Why? Better housing policy upsets their base & requires political courage. They don't have it.

Their own commission (and everyone) says that DCs are making building too expensive. Why not cap them???
