West Virginia Sen. Jim Justice attended Trump's coal event at the White House. As a coal baron, he and his family are likely to personally profit from Trump's actions on coal. His businesses have been struggling mightily in recent years and owe hundreds of thousands of dollars in pollution fines.
Trump is certainly trying to keep up with that kill record. Coal burning is responsible for 200,000 deaths in US annually from air pollution. And they just gutted the Black Lung monitoring division at HHS, soTrump can knock off some more that way. Absolutely despicable.
look, you can argue if it'd ever be profitable all you want, but you can't deny it'd open up so many jobs for coal miners if we stop enforcing meddlesome regulations like "try not to kill them after one day on the job"
