Urgh... due to staff absence, I have just 10 days to learn contract and tort law and prepare 18 hours' worth of lectures.

Perhaps lots of opportunities for the students to do self managed learning workshoppy style things?? π
Perhaps thatβs why Iβm not a lecturer π€
Good luck Lou. Especially with that subject material π₯±
Are there any PowerPoint presentations which you can adapt so they are yours & you can talk around them in the lectures?
You will know how hard it is to deliver someone elses work.
You donβt have enough time to prepare lectures to your normal standard. All you can aim for is to produce lectures to an acceptable standard - which is tough enough. Good luck.
As much as we'll miss you, since your post you'd have been 10% towards getting the material ready.
SM = procrastination.
Oh! And group work. Give them pre-reads and set problems for them to resolve.
Good luck!
Plus, theirs is boring. I don't do boring π

Sending lots of positivity β€οΈ
These days, you can integrate videos into PowerPoint, so yeah... I'll do a few of those
I had much worse in my early days of lecturing, so this will be a breeze π
*Note to self.. don't ever piss Lou off..π³
(My memory may be suspect)
