we could've had a couple in this game if we'd gone for it. Arteta stresses we need to be able to win in different ways, yet doesn't seem to think that being aggressive in transition is one of those ways. if you let a good defense get back into shape, you're making it harder on yourself.

We retain the ball best in the league. Yes, our defence with 10 different combinations in 16 games, and is not settled, but we are still one of the best teams defensively. Arteta is a conservative coach at heart, but he has to do better with transition opportunities.

Everyone was hyped about that lineup. But.hype.didnt translate to much of anything on the pitch..nwaneri for Odegaard backfired and even Leo couldn't do his usual magic as sub. Martinelli got into great spots but again.slow.decision making kills all his edge as a.player. need alot of luck now

angriest i been for while. No urgency in second half, subs actually slowed the game down more some how, Partey was horrendous he walked whole time and passed backwards when we need a goal. No energy, arteta got it very wrong today. Too safe we should of gone all out second half, two up front etc.

After 4 minutes, it was already done. I don't understand why our full-backs can't overlap our wingers. It seems that Arteta doesn't let them. The wingers find themselves up against 2 or 3 defenders and lose the ball or go backwards. We're boring to watch and we don't pose any danger.

No I think we definitely do and it's not just from open play but also set pieces. The issue is that due to the low conversion rate we need a high volume of chances to win games and when those chances are not forthcoming we struggle.
