After Dave & I parked our bikes, we walked to Giants dugout. I met Bob Melvin for the first time, talked to him, he left, thought it went well …

Met Dave at a Giants vacation in Puerto Vallarta. He hung out by the pool with a 1960s vintage hardback of Hemingway’s Old Man and the Sea. We talked books.
