i spent a month investigating how republicans could cut off access to trans healthcare for most americans, and how democrats can likely stop them — but it’s unclear if they will.

personally, as a florida escapee, i saw this coming - and so pushed heavily on myself and my providers to complete all the gender-affirming procedures i needed, because the future is terribly uncertain. i'd rather my body run on no hormones than be forcibly detransitioned.
Saves them the trouble of doing it themselves. At least at the start.
This will cause a brain drain and make any assisted reproductive tech development even harder to do
Another area where the US gives up an advantage to jerk off a bunch of idiots.
(Yes I know that’s not how it should be, but don’t waste time on that. Is what is.)
Who is doing pressure campaigns on this?
I've had some of those stories over the years (monitoring media encouraging hate crimes after 9/11; covering misogynist mass shootings; etc), know how it can rock you to the core. Do you know this journ+trauma org? https://dartcenter.org/
And thousands of those poor, sweet trans children you pretended to care about will kill themselves.
It's always been about that at the core.
That way it's an "honorable" death.
They literally don't care
