I'm not saying that I bought an inadvisable amount of licorice pastels and chocolate-covered gummy bears. But SOMEONE did, and now, somehow, they have come into my possession.

But on a more serious note, I wonder if @ellierose.bsky.social has tried layer pauses with her amazing chocolate 3d printer as a way to … say … insert a gummy bear into a tiny chocolate coffin for halloween?
I’ve never heard of them either, but I recently tried Nerds Gummy Clusters. The gummies are way too sweet, and covered in Nerds that are tart and crunchy. They shouldn’t work, but are pretty addictive.
I have not, but that sounds amazing. I am honestly pretty picky with licorice, but this licorice covered with milk chocolate would be super yummy, I think.
The coating has visible bloom, so it might taste more waxy & the temperature of the melting chocolate would probably change the texture of the gummies for the worse?
Chocolate covered gummy bears?
I have never seen those, and I thought that I've seen everything related to fruit gums.
I am not sure, that it sounds good...
Finally, someone else that likes licorice! When I tell my friends I like it, they look at me like I'm crazy. Also, I like to post pictures like this of me eating licorice ice cream, which further disturbs them.
Just imagine being in the room at that exact moment in history when somebody decided to push the boundaries of what science thought possible, and cover a gummy bear in chocolate.
Take one tortilla, add cinnamon cream cheese, licorice pastels, chocolate covered gummy bears, mini peanut butter cups and sprinkle with nerds candy. Plate, serve and get the beetus.
So, apparently there's an order of protection out against me personally... I'm not to have licorice within 500 feet of anywhere that any spouse, ex girlfriend, female friends or their friends may be at any time... I find my choices limited...

Because those are truly amazing.

Just no!

Dark chocolate or milk chocolate?
Bravo, intrepid food pioneer! Bravo!
Though I suppose a sweet ranch could be done.
