We visited a lot of National Parks and National Forests when I was a kid. I wish every kid and every adult could enrich their lives in our amazing park lands. We need a free Every Person Outdoors pass. We have to stop the Republican assault on our land before they give it all away.

Our 4th grader got to use his for the first time a few weeks ago at Acadia. The rangers treated him like a VIP. It’s a wonderful program!

I think it is a great program, but I object to the short-sightedness of our politicians to think that Americans should pay to visit our own land.

If you have a current fourth grader, log on to https://everykidoutdoors.gov with your student, complete an activity, then download and print your pass voucher. Redeem the printed voucher for the pass at thousands of federal public land sites throughout the country 2/n

We used it for Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Shenandoah, Guadalupe Mountain, Carlsbad Caverns, White Sands, Bandolier, Bryce, Capitol Reef, Arches and Canyonlands. (I have two sons 😊)

Since learning about this, I’ve been patiently waiting until my kiddos are in 4th grade. I can’t wait for two summers of epic road trips!
