An evening Cumulus. It was the light on it, that prompted the taking of the picture. If I was a pilot, I would be flying a biplane in and around it for fun. But, not today!
Those are not easy shots to get! At least, they weren’t when I was trying to photograph mountain wave clouds back in the day. The human eye has such great dynamic range a camera just can’t replicate.
I have spent many days in Wyoming and Idaho - all over both states - cousins in Casper - I love Wyoming’s geology=some of the US’s oldest - I can close my eyes and see it. I always feel like I’m in the old show Bonanza when I drive up 25 from Denver to Cheyenne. Prefer WY to Utah to drive.
