I highly recommend rewatching it with your kid(s). Lucy and I have had so much fun with the classics. Look Around You was definitely a highlight. King of the Hill atm, and Reeves and Mortimer next. It's really enjoyable.
Lucy thought it was very stupid, which is entirely fair, and in now way a criticism. But she enjoyed the surreal daftness of Look Around You much more, which is why I think R&M is the way forward.
I did a Lloyd Grossman "who lives in a house like this" the other day. Then had to explain who he was, which of course took in his knife and fork fingers on R&M. She was fascinated, so it's finally time. Very excited. I think the Stars in the Eyes sketch is the most I've ever laughed at a TV show.
Yeah, we've done those too! Conchords gets referenced a lot. Stath and Friday Night Dinner we keep returning to, though. So maybe a surreal sitcom is the answer. House of Fools perhaps, but I think that's better when you're familiar with R&M's brand of daft.
