Never done this before, any platform. Could be fun.
What X-Men, X-family, X-adjacent comic do you want to see from my collection? If I have it, I’ll take a NEW pic in response.
Don’t have all the X-books, but a lot of them. Don’t chase all variants, esp recent; have majority of A covers and keys.

And because I absolutely love 121 and couldn’t post it enough, here it is!
Both Byrne and Claremont referred to it as “Future History” instead of “Future Past.” Internal or original title?
What is the meaning of this?!?
(below yours) and I’ll rush to the boxes
Since then I have gone back to get the X-Men flagship ongoings and keys, but missing chunks of runs of peripheral books.
Also, I took it out to avoid glare in the pic and now I’m hungry for combos…
That was a fun variant cover series.
That’s a killer variant, and don’t have it. In fact, missing almost that entire Vol 1 since I had only just started back collecting maybe 1 or 2 titles. Do have Vol 2 though, but only A covers.
You’ve earned a 2nd request, only if you want it though.
That was another fun series of covers.
And I don’t have a ton of variants as they were already pretty overwhelming when I got back into comics in 2014/2015. Exceptions are things like the two variants for X-Men #25, cause nostalgia and all that.
That was about the time variants were getting out of control.
I ended up buying enough to fill up all my space by 2019 and stopped buying comics when the Krakoa era kicked off.
That said, Marvel had a lot of fun with their variants around that time.
I think José Ladrönn was penciling at that point and showing that a Kirby-esque style never gets old.
You deserved the full front and back cover, and I def wasn’t prepared to see Beavis and Butthead!
Got this as I was chasing all of Logan Wolverine’s apps in the 1970s+80s+90s. It was listed on the cmro site and had to be an online purchase. Figured no way I’m finding this irl. Or the Marvel UK annuals, for that matter.
At the Sign of the Lion part 1
Here’s the Madness in Murderworld (1989) Paragon Software one.
Is the X-Men II one the Activision game? If so, still hunting that one.
Thank you, added it to my list, have 50 of the (+1 now) 70 ID’d.
Could be an exception since it’s more a promo strategy, than just including a mini comic in something else. If it makes sense
Here’s this master work, my fav Marvel/DC collab. Also, today saw a 1982 interview with Claremont saying almost used Legion instead of Titans!
Teen Titans being big enough to be chosen for the collab at the time is so interesting lol and I had no idea LoSH almost got chosen that's awesome!
Each year I put the new buys into the mothership collection. And the new books I file the same order so it’s not too bad.
Most likely candidates would be New Warriors Annual #1 (part of the crossover with the X-books annuals in 1991) and New Warriors #45-46 (crossover with X-Force). I'd be happy with any of those. Or a deeper cut.
#27 I’d guess I got for a Logan Wolverine appearance. Not so sure about 67+68, I was trying to get into Spidey books around then too. Maximum Clonage was not the best time to start, I was very confused.
But yeah Maximum Clonage? More like Maximum Confusion!
I also tried to jump into some Batman/DC books at Dark Knights: Metal so have terrible comics jumping on timing.
Spider-Man, Firestar and Iceman #1 (1983). Dallas Times Herald Supplement. … at the Dallas Ballet Nutcracker.
Spider-Man, Firestar and Iceman #2 (1983). Denver Post Supplement. … Danger in Denver.
And don’t forget the Zit Fighters from Outer Space. Maybe we’ll see them in the X-MCU.

Too much to hope it might be included on the MU app so I could read it…
Heck I learned about a couple new ones yesterday in this thread, and I’ve been diligently hunting them for a few years!
Pure coincidence I upgraded that copy to this one, just a few months before the Wanda show news broke.
Bonus no-prize if you can figure out which letter in the letters column was from an 11 year old me
Ok I narrowed down my choice to these two, for different reasons. It’s a 50/50 guess, but I’m going with the first one. Is there a no-prize in my future?
As for whether or not you got it....
#196 such a cool story, that’s awesome you started there! Finished my Claremont Run read through last year and this one def stood out.
This series came out while I was on my Big Comics Break, but I do really like the X-Statix team! As penance (or reward?) tomorrow I will wear my Doop Was Right shirt.
You’ve earned a 2nd request, only if you want though. And I sadly only have #1 of that title.
What about Magneto #0?
I’m also having fun chasing all the X-promo/giveaway books, esp since there’s not really a list.
Is this the Magneto 0 you were thinking of? I have the regular, not the Gold variant.
Need to do a single issue read through of Excalibur Vol 1, maybe after I (too slowly) finish Alpha Flight.
Uncanny 141?
As long as we’re buying/acquiring and enjoying we’re all true collectors! Longer I do this the more I realize there’s no single (or right) way to collect.
Thanks for mentioning these and here are the 3 I have. Not surprisingly, missing the New Warriors annual.

Also, saw this last story page while leading through your choice thought I’d share!
Peter you broke me! I don’t have this one, completely missed that Necrosha story on my Big Comics Break.
But, added it to the want list so thanks! Cause, always Dazzler.
You’ve earned a 2nd request, only if you want though.
I got the comic in prob 1987 or 1988, having no idea it was so glorious.
Respect, that’s a really great choice, esp since I’m a huge Betsy fan. I don’t have any of those 7 issues. Closest I have is the X-Men Archives Sketchbook.
Feel free to pick another (challenging, pls!) book, or not, your choice!
