i’m confused by this — there’s no “splitting the vote” with RCV. are they splitting the chances of one of them approaching cuomo’s name recognition? yeah, maybe. but last i saw, mamdani’s gain on cuomo was pretty major, so i’m not grasping the critique here?

If the race were closer, RCV would be very helpful, but it's not. Cuomo is so far ahead that the psychological effect is that he's inevitable and voters can't get excited about a viable alternative. I swear to god, I cannot stand progressives who don't get this basic concept. It astonishes me.
