I think the chances of the senate taking the house bill as written are 0. How different is the question, yeah.

The big question is how this is done.

The Senate doesn't expect much of the House bill beyond some of the tax cuts to survive. That's why the no-tax-on-tips passed the Senate on a separate bill earlier this week.

People wonder why the Senate passed a no-tax-on-tips bill this week. It was to remove a reason to vote for the House bill as written. They wouldn't have done that if they were going to pass the House bill unaltered.

Don't be surprised if other popular provisions get voted on in separate bills.

I’m not optimistic that there are any decent GOP in senate, tax cuts come at the expense of suffering by Americans -at this point why should the GOP be immune from the suffering -pain for thee but not for me has worked so well for them that it’s their playbook -they have been after this for decades

Oh yes. You still should call your Republican Senators and scream at them, just so they know that you know the House passed a MAGA Medicare Murder bill. Make sure your Republican voting relatives know too: the main reason I'm still on Facebook is to do just that.

Everything in it is terrible but I'd be lying if I didn't hope they somehow keep the provision deregulating suppressors I saw someone say was added during the house hearing yesterday
