7/ In Every Life by Marla Frazee is another book that makes me weep. The message of live every moment would pair beautifully with notes from your child's teachers. Stunning.

9/ I am Every Good Thing by Derrick Barnes- one of the two books I gave my own son on his graduation.
“I am worthy of success, of respect, of safety, of kindness, of happiness.”
10/For Every One by Jason Reynolds- not the ideal blank space for teachers to write, but the kind of message I hope my son turns to when he is scared or unsure as he makes his way through this life.
Also the gift I give to each of my graduates at the end of seniors year.
And again, not a dig at parents. I will sign Seuss again this year, I'm sure. I love my students and I'm glad to celebrate them- but you can pick a better book.
Jessica Kulekjian & Zara Gonzalez Hoang’s “Yay!” Is my new favorite celebration and/or graduation book. I work with TK-2nd and have grandbabies younger than that, so this one is a perfect fit!
