I'm 100% dependent on audiobooks and have always used Libby, but now I'm going to check into Hoopla and CloudLibrary.

A thing I noticed on Hoopla over the holidays is that they carry a lot of "Spotify Exclusive" and "Audible Exclusive" recordings. These are usually novellas/short stories written specifically for the aforementioned services. Without paying subscription fees!

Honestly the library apps are what got me back into books and I tell everyone about them. My local library using CloudLibrary and another allows anyone in the state to get an ecard which got me access to Libby! Both entirely free and they have so much content which I have been loving

hoopla is a service that depending on your library offers ebooks or audiobooks. you have a specific number of books you can borrow per month but you can borrow them immediately

In my library system sometimes Hoopla has books that Libby doesn't, and vice versa. I don't know why 🤷‍♀️ I use both apps for that reason!

You can also collect library cards like Pokémon on Libby! All the libraries in my US state require an in person visit, but there are some large US metros that let you pay an annual fee for access without a visit.
