Stuffed ourselves with a v good seasonal dinner in a bar behind Würzburg’s cathedral (dedicated to Irish missionary St Kilian, who Christianised most of the local Franconian pagans), of wild garlic kasespätzle and a glass of Bavarian sylavaner.
