Been saying for years that the best move the Republicans ever did was removing the negative stigma to hypocrisy.
Once being hypocritical wasn't a concern, it allowed them to do whatever they wanted and condemn anyone else. It is a fundamental tenet of their platform, "good for me but not for thee."
Posing hypocrisy as a net negative only works against people who are capable of feeling shamed by public denouncement, instead of being invigorated by it.
I feel as though the real cultural turn was changing being called out from being a bad thing to a source of pride.
Man they hate that guy like crazy. Especially in Poland. Theyβll bring Soros βbeing evilβ up to me when weβre talking about something totally unrelated like pierogi or something lol
Let's see how long it lasts. The MyPillow guy, Mike Lindell, tried to be the "right wing Soros" and it basically bankrupted him within a couple of years. Musk has a lot more money, but he's also been spending it much more flagrantly.
Everything they complain about the left doing they do. It's all projection. Every bit of it. If we survive this, the Right will learn what FAFO really means.
Now the Democrat Leaders need to get their shit together. Jeffries needs to be voted out as Minority Leader and new leadership is needed.
I heard a very well known sports talk guy -- who is usually inveterately both sides, but has weighed in against Trump -- responding to someone criticizing Musk with "Well what about George Soros? The Democrats have him". Yeesh. Pissed off about the Twitter exodus.
Which is why Iβm always sickened when the make some outrageous accusation, because every single accusation is what theyβre already doing and/or planning.
From pedo cults to secret billionaire funders, from cheating the immigration system to indoctrinating kids, its all, and has always been, IMAX-scale projection.

Soros is a genuine philanthropist.
He worked for...wait for it...Soros. I shite you not.
I donβt have to know about it but I presume lots of smart ppl are doing something. (God willing!)
I can at least think global and work local.
He's always doing/done/planning to do the negative things he accuse others of doing.

The weaponization of outrage farming destroyed the efficacy of public perception/accusation being an influential force in politics.
Or both?
French nobles had every chance to embrace reforms decades before the guillotines.
Same in Russia. Same in Cuba.
"Eat the rich" was never the starting point. But it's always the final bid.

They are always projecting
1. They personally insult you and avoid the question.
2. Move the goal posts.
Rinse, repeat
Every accusation from The Right is a confession by The Right.
