Brilliant ad. Not only did they create (typically elusive) viral content, they will get more business from both anti-tesla car owners, AND from the desperate Tesla owners who are remorsefully stuck with the albatross in their driveway.
Score!
These guys are close to me, their website says they only do EVs but the photos look like they only do Teslas.
I'd guess Teslas are nice because you know the owners are used to pretty shoddy quality and bad customer service, even if you are just ok they're going to love you.
The Wayback Machine has their website going back for four years; from the start they said their company "specializes in applying durable films and proprietary coatings that will enhance, protect, and preserve your Tesla’s paint and appearance".
They had videos then, too, they were more respectful:
Guy filming himself egging a car for his pro-Tesla business and immediately getting surrounded by twenty cops in swat gear and sent to Gitmo for something called "car-related 9/11 activities".
They do minor customs on already purchased vehicles, they're not a dealer. This is going to get them a shitload of business. Cheap AF ad to produce. https://www.alsetauto.com/laguna-niguel/pricing
You gonna go running to CFPB? The FCC? Lolz, the red tape has been cut, no one will harass businesses anymore with their "laws" or "rules". 'Merica baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
