It was always predictable that the richest man in the world would fall out with the supposedly most powerful man in the world. But I didn’t think Musk’s break with President Trump would happen so fast, or be so excruciatingly embarrassing.

Question is though, is it genuine? Or is it to distract from something else that screws over the folks of the USA even further? Seems to be impossible to tell what’s really going on anymore.
I have to say JS I predicted this from the off. Like so many who have flown too close to the Orange Sun king with wax wings Musk fell to earth. Trump’s entourage are like rats in a sack. Reckon one of the reason’s for Vance’s boorishness and bellicosity was a response to Musk hogging the spotlight.
Neither did I. But then I think we've both made the same error of ascribing traits of rationality, logic and decorum to two men who wouldn't recognise any of those things if they'd spent the last three nights making passionate love to each ot them in turn.
They are both racing forwards at FF pace and neither has an iota of emotional intelligence so I’m not terribly surprised it’s only taken a few months. The schoolyard insults and the like don’t surprise me at all (regrettably).
Sorry John but for some of us who spend too much time on social media this was totally predictable. When it ends is not clear. That Musk has to calm down is without any doubt.
