Is this related to how many of each generation watched The Apprentice? Trump disparages women constantly, which might explain the gender difference. On TV, he looks like he knows what he's doing. Also related to the level of cosplay in the cabinet.

Ive thought about this a lot. I think the problem stems from the "Work hard and you'll succeed" mentality men have had drilled into us since birth. They work hard and are still struggling, then Republicans give them someone to blame and it all makes sense now(to them. It must be X's fault.

This, plus the generational lead exposure chart showing we got blasted with the stuff, plus having very clear memories of how I felt alienated from most of my cohort from about middle school on. It wasn’t only shyness that kept my friend count low.
