This took all day. Scrubbed the kitchen down and brought in a gorgeous old bookcase we’ve had forever in the cottage. It’s thinner than the red cabinet. Cleared off the counters and the butcher block. Moved big mirror around. More to do. But it’s gorgeous & so functional & open. - ThreadSky

Moved the red cabinet into the laundry room next to the red locker. They hold LOTS of cooking ingredients and cans of coconut cream/milk, canned tomatoes, dried peppers, etc etc. I love our tiny universe

At least in my grandmother's Dayton OH home, that bookcase would have likely been called a jelly cupboard or cabinet. If it had screened doors on it, it would have been a pie safe.
