It's Saturday morning. My kid has full
permission to watch TV, play video games, whatever.
He's reading One Piece books. It's his favorite thing. He's on volume 25!
I legit caught him reading under the covers when he was supposed to be sleeping a few nights back.
Amazing. Thank you, Eiichiro Oda.

Iβd be interested to hear your take on the series too!
Back then it was Goosebumps books β€οΈ
Best present for me ever was you giving that to my kid.

Letting kids feel like they're being rebels while doing good, wholesome things is always great
you should read them too
Back when this was fresh, most people didn't pay attention or give it due value. Now, so many years later, we're learning that many things first presented at this point in the story are really important and relevant.
One Piece really is a gift.
But watch out, Prof. There's a card game!
I'm just imagining you shouting "Where did you get these?" and him shouting "I learned it from watching you, dad!"
Better be careful, though. There's a card game, too, and you might both get sucked into it. :p
He has a lot of the books, I set up an app called Aniyomi but a Shonen Jump subscription is only $3/month.
