It’s partly me just being a fiddly, twee person and partly the lack of great coffee shops near me.

Fortunately there’s a very good roaster I can visit once every two weeks or so and I have a good grinder and a solid methodology.

And coffee won't mess around with you. Well, apart from too many cups making you have those little black lines cartoonists use to indicate shakiness in a character. Shaved ginger and cinnamon in the pot, can't say it enough.
