The One Piece TCG is pretty fun. Been playing it the past year and rounds can go rather quickly. If you can get any of the Structure Decks like ST12, it's easy to get into and the simulator is also pretty good as well
Smash Up!! It’s not well known but I really love their idea of a “shufflebuilding card game” where you have two pre-constructed, 20 cards, themed decks that you play onto “bases”.
For example, my favorite combination is Tornado Disco Dancers, or as I like to call them “Swirling Winds!”
Try and track down Palm Island. It's a solo card game where you keep the deck in one hand, and play by manipulating the position and orientation of cards with the other.
It'd definitely work those fine motor skills, and it's a small enough deck to keep in a pocket.
I feel like it's a good time to play Magic the Gathering, ask Greg & Mike. Also, teaching yourself actual card based magic tricks during recovery would be pretty sick.
It's a really good TCG that has an easy entry point but a very high skill ceiling so I'd recommend it for sure
If you're a fan of OP it's even better too, the art on the cards is great, and the quality of the cards themselves feels so good; best feeling cards out there to me

No idea about One Piece.

No
The right ccg is always the one you have friends to play with or a good local community for.
