I ran around for an hour just killing dogs in the first dungeon to regain MP because it was somehow preferable to spending one more in-game day coming back to the dungeon to fight the boss even though this is objectively untrue.

So very clearly Metaphor makes an effort to stop players from beating a dungeon in one day, but it does this by throwing a lot of MP-draining enemies at you constantly, which I am not sure is the correct design call. I guess we’ll see!
