Recently swapped to Anytype and it's been working well so far. Originally did a lot on Notion but discovered they delete items over time without your consent. Anytype is super similar so it's been comfortable migrating over so far.

I use the Obsidian app for my notes, and I love it. It's simple, fast, and incredibly flexible thanks to the plugin system. The learning curve isn’t the fastest, but there are thousands of YouTube videos with tutorials and tips nowadays.

Pen and paper... Ok but on a serious note....(I'll see myself out)...but seriously it's not cheap but I have a Remarkable 2 tablet and love it. Serves almost all of my note taking needs. I do wish the mobile app supported more features like stylus support (I have an S24 Ultra). Otherwise it's great.

The main benefit of Remarkable cloud saves is that you can choose just about any major 3rd party cloud service you'd like but they do have their own service as well. That way it's easier to move notes in the future if necessary.

I use Obsidian for my notes. Since it's just a vault of text files (Markdown files, technically), I sync it between devices using my cloud storage of choice (in my case, OneDrive; on Android specifically, I use the OneSync app)

i use obsidian and love it, but it leans more technical, so you need to know markdown and enjoy futzing about with the many extensions if you wanna get the best from it. a lot of people are super into Notion now. and surprisingly, microsofts onenote is also really liked.

If you use obsidian, you will never lose your data again. Adding notes from mobile is much faster.

Notion is great and I prefer it's editor. Much easier to organize / template whatever you'd like to document. Can request regular backups from Notion.
