We are just at the beginning of Spring so nothing is flowering yet. But below are pictures from prior springs. My favorite plants here are all the berries. In my backyard, I have blueberries, currants (red, black, white), gooseberries, raspberries, and a Finland-specific apple tree good for baking.
In addition to being pretty, Dianthus have one of my favorite scents of any flower—kind of spicy/clove-like. Not generally floral scent person, but these are wonderful.
I’ll have to give them a sniff next time I’m at the garden store. Not sure my neighbors would appreciate me getting down on my hands and knees to sniff their front yard! 😆
