Smart definitely show us where the price differences are in your area. I'm going to try to do the same in my area so far I've seen eggs go up I know ironic. Gas has went back up a few cents and any meat is freaking ridiculous

I just hope that things improve no matter who is in office or whomever controls the house and senate. Lets be positive and work to get back to happiness and love. Love they neighbor, no matter who they voted for and it will make things better in your immediate circle.

Our local grocery store website i think has a spreadsheet i can download with current products and prices.

The economy here is different then MO. min wage is close too 12.75 hr.

But getting a baseline of what will still be available and it's cost will help overall budgeting

I filled an online Safeway grocery cart with staples and took screenshots on 11/7; leaving everything in the cart so I can do a line item comparison in a couple months. Same with lumber & at Lowe’s (we import a significant % of our lumber from Canada), and a GasBuddy map of prices to compare.

Using CPI-U (food I tracked the increase Urban Food Costs) over the last 10-years food costs increased on average about 20%. So a bag of groceries in 2014 cost $300 bucks in 2024 that same food cost $360.
