One thing that I think is very notable from the Tomino Memo with respect to GQuuuuuuX, is a fragment called "Challia Bull's Letter," where Challia describes a vision of humanity's future. I'm very curious if this will make it into the series in some form.

Well sure, literally no mecha from GQuuuuuuX is an exact copy of the original 1979 design. But as far as the designs go, it's one of the ones that takes substantially fewer liberties.
