Writing is thinking. That’s the primary reason to write. Secondarily, it’s about beaming your thoughts across the space-time continuum into someone else’s brain. They’re smart and can skim pst the typos.
Rarely, polish is an important step, like dressing up for a special occasion; it indicates care was taken. LLMs offer a shortcut to signal this degree of care, for now. Soon, people will recognize LLM-speak assign middle status: more than zero care was taken, but wasn’t deemed human-time worthy.
I agree with your opinion. Today's posts can feel more superficial... However, I keep writing, not only for the community, but for myself. Putting things into words helps me understand them better. Even drafts count; they spark the curiosity and passion that lead us ;)
