What was the first album you bought?
With my own money, when I was 12, I bought The Grateful Dead / Europe 72 at a yard sale. It cost a quarter. I bought it because I liked the cover, and am so glad that Stanley Mouse literally drew me into a lifelong love of the Dead and of his art.

Guessing few on bsky have heard this album but many have heard the FM hit Never Been Any Reason. I had just gotten $5 for my 7th birthday & my 15 yr old sister wanted this. She had good taste and so when I saw it at Zayre I told my mom that’s what I wanted to buy.
A No Brainer, every scoundrel and his dog had a copy, due to the lad's allure of 'the top shelf' and the cheapness of price_
