They're just mad Kendrick didn't say or do anything to ignite a riot. We're still chillin and keeping it cute and civilized and it's starving them of the outcome they crave.
I loved it! My kind of music, it’s REAL!
Life isn’t a fairytale and we need leaders like Kendrick Lamar. I like a few of his songs but like how he calls out the fakeness of people. There are a lot of fakers in society and it’s nice to meet real fucking people!
I normally don't care much about the halftime shows but I tuned in to the SB specifically to see Kendrick and I was not disappointed, that was pure cinema. The stage, the dancers, the Message, everything was right. Prince and Kendrick are the standards now.
I didn't watch the halftime show. I haven't in years. It was Paul McCartney performing. I have always loved the Beatles. But I have seen some of what took place and I guess I should have watched it. I would like to have seen how Trump reacted, but he was already upset about his team losing.
I'll admit I didn't understand it at first, but once I learned the meaning behind it (thanks Bella and the rest from @stephaniemiller.bsky.social ) I loved it.
To be honest when half time comes on is when we party and when it ends we go back to the game. Never really cared for half time. It my short coming in life I guess ?
January 6 involved smearing shit on walls and breaking into secured areas while carrying tasers and flexi cuffs. It’s far from comparable. So the fact that racists are that triggered by a performance says a lot about their hatred
Well, when I watched it I didn't care for it but I'll preface with that I didn't understand there was a message. So although I still didn't understand the words I agree that it was important for this message to be told.
I thought the people who wouldn’t like the halftime show were already boycotting the NFL because lift every voice and sing. Or because they sell bud lite.
See, the thing is that the people you have in mind lack the ability to imagine anything. ESPECIALLY how someone else feels. That much seems patently obvious.
To many people, things are not good or bad because of what they are, but because of who does them. To them, cracking a police officer's skull and leaving her with brain damage is morally good, because it was done BY their side. Calling them names is inexcusable, because it's done TO their side. See?
Now why the anabaptists have to catch a stray? They want some septuagenarian classic rock that no one will tune in for. That or country pop since that seems to be spreading internationally.
Oh I don’t have Netflix I had no idea. I have been watching the country music fandom spread throughout Africa, notably Kenya, and Australia. I drove past a bootscoot bar in Montreal this past weekend. Line dancing clubs all over Europe too. From country to reggaeton our music rounds the globe!
I can’t remember a halftime show that wasn’t bitched about. People are extra bitchy about it cause racism is encouraged by the orange shit heard and the muskrat.
I remember Gaga’s halftime was great but all those ass hats just talked about her weight. Like what? 🙃
A few years ago I think it was Beyoncé and J Lo doing a duet and dance that involved a lot of leg spreading. People said they could see “everything” and that it would corrupt their children. Both women were wearing opaque body stockings. Conservatives are sick-minded.
I need to go back and watch it at home. I was at a Super Bowl party and everyone (all elderly white people) talked all the way through it. I knew it was going to be epic, and I couldn't even hear it or focus. It deserves better attention.

A.) a peaceful protest
B.) patriotically defending their country
I guess I owe that to having reasonable fb friends/family and not being on twitter.
Doesn’t change a thing.
They not like us.

It was great. I’ve rewatched it numerous time. I love more each time.
this was more offensive by any measure

There was even a denim covered pick up truck and a singing Post Malone.
I don’t think the genre is what they’re really in a twist over

(Seriously, though before her people find it and take it down because this is probably a copyright violation)
