WAY surpasses Watergate. It’s the most serious constitutional crisis since 1861.

Sen Chris Murphy (D-CT) to ABC:
“I think this is the most serious constitutional crisis the country has faced, certainly since Watergate, the President is attempting to seize control of power and for corrupt purposes”

This time the insurrection is already *inside* the institutions.

A convicted felon who has a PAST is throwing toys out of his new toy chest, distracting all the "guardians of democracy" while all those complicit in his ascension loot, pillage and tear their way through the remaining wealth in this country.
Don't make me laugh - that document will hold up a long while longer.
But this *IS* the greatest threat since indigenous populations saw white sails on the horizon.
Ask them - there are still a few of them left.
The wheels are off, and the center cannot hold.
in need is a crime against humanity. Nobody holds him accountable. We are fools to let this go on!
"... constitutional crisis", to a majority of 2024 voters, means 1A and 2A and nothing else. Start speaking to the audience you have, not the one you want.
This. Is. Not. A. Drill.
At least in 1861, the federal government was on the right side of the issue.
We are no where near that now.
In many regards we probably already are a quasi-dictatorship; it’s unclear whether Trump/Musk will follow court orders and everyone just accepts the DOJ will ignore wrongdoing.

Most of the media and 90% of the public are treating our crisis like it is in the Watergate neighborhood.
Thugs taking-over the IT system of the federal government is a coup; worse than the secession in 1861 which at least left a democratic option.
Watergate's squishy by comparison
Fixing it is not creating a constitutional crisis; it is ending the long-simmering perversions of our government.
Trump’s coup attempt that prompted the second impeachment was way worse than Watergate, as is this.
This is worse than 1861.
