I didn't say it was appropriate, I just said, sadly, it's common for some fans of the home team to be disrespectful to the visitor and their fans regardless of the situation. Blame the classless fans not the team or the hosting city as a whole.

I'm not really a football fan at all. This is probably the first game I've really tried to sit through. I will say though, some of your players are acting a bit "classless" themselves compared to the Lions, so I wouldn't be throwing stones at some dumb fans.

That's obviously not entirely accurate, the crowd was yelling that as they started making the announcement...it was the beginning of the game and the crowd was riled up and it was a playoff atmosphere for a team that has had THREE playoff wins in 50 years...classless? Come on
