we gave up wrapping gifts for the environment (and because we hated doing it and the mess and fuss) we just hand things out

I don't know whether this is an option for you, but most of the stores I do Christmas shopping at have a desk where someone will wrap your gifts beautifully so that you don't have to worry about it. Merry Christmas, Jeremy! I'm on holiday, too.

Check YouTube for some tutorials. Ironically I am very good at wrapping gifts but celebrate with friends who don't want any more stuff.

I put mine in tissue paper, then in reusable gift bags. Much more eco friendly and a darn site easier! No more anxiety about perfect corners .
