The ones that look like chunky zip ties that have been around since the 80s also work fine, but it’s annoying enough to undo them that you may end up leaving things unlocked sometimes, so then you’re back at square one…

We keep a magnet key on the side of the fridge and it hasn’t ever gotten lost. The magnet locks definitely work better than the latches.

The munchkin ones are good! They break occasionally which i kind of like bc of select circs eg when you actually dont want child hand/foot irrevocably stuck in [hazard place]

It's the magnet lock. Get a few extra keys and be careful not to accidentally let them hop a ride on a baking sheet as it heads into the oven.
