Yall gonna hear news about a lot of companies halting production in China. Even returning cargo that was loaded onto containers ready to ship at port!
Trump is going to paint this as a win.
But it's NOT... and here's why. 👇

That's what happens when you wipe out hundreds of billions of $ in economic value, and help your rich "friends" snatch up hundreds of billions more.
Everyone is pausing shipping in progress due to uncertainty. There are some rush airfreight orders to try and beat certain tariff dates, but that's expensive and risky. Everyone else is leaving containers in port or pallets at their supplier's warehouse.
But that won't happen until 1-3 months after the container arrives because...
After 1.5 months at sea your container reaches the Port of LA and is unloaded. Then it sits in a yard for a week until it's inspected by customs and you can pick it up. Then customs sends you a bill, and you have 30 days to pay.
This is NOT a short term phenomena. Follow the supply-chains, not the stock market.
Companies are NOT going to cancel their order in China and buy American. If they can't afford tariffs, then they can't afford US workers. And there's no manufacturing here- the whole problem supposedly!
Also, it has measles, H5N1, and still more COVID.
may this whole debacle smooth over soon so you might get some rest.
