To be clear, the line "Everybody dies" is specific to actors dying heroically in movies with an ensemble cast. If you are a real person in a position of power and actively threatening other people's lives, this is not your punchline. Step off.

I’m starting to think this is deliberate. THIS IS NOT A LITMUS TEST. It’s not even relevant to what we’re facing in this moment. Do not give it oxygen.

Remote work means that by 10 am I've had two conf calls, signed off on the dept budget, fixed my neighbor's smoke alarm, removed a tick off my newly widowed friend's middle back, found a coworker's missing pdf, and said yes to a bake sale. Capitalism hates it when we get community in our dayjob.
