As the story goes, the Great Flood cleansed the world of all bad people and only spared the righteous Noah and his family.

So how did evil make a comeback after that? Either (a) Noah wasn't really all that clean, (b) the flood didn't cover all that much ground, or (c) the whole thing is fiction.
