Anyway, this is a very nice story about how doing things people actually like can both be funny and make money, as long as you don't expect to get four yachts out of it. Thank you, @joelancaster.com, for writing this.
Business is still poss, you don't HAVE to settle for speculating. But I suspect everything revolving around advertising does a lot of damage -- no meet without a third party roaming around hassling people about something unrelated? How is that helpful? And the lying. 😬
This is why the only print I still subscribe to are The Onion and The New Yorker. Washington Post lost me after three goddamn decades plus! Also, not print, but my local NPR station which killed DCist.
There's been a couple of times I've taken Onion headlines seriously before I realized where it was from because, in this day and age, they 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 be believed!
