Bull.
It’s those with the outsized, out of control egos who are the most likely difficult ones… be they stars OR ‘second-stringers’ (terrible phrase).
It’s all in the character of the individual, whatever their status. There are no hard and fast takes on this.

Did some acting as a child and was in a few big films and TV shows. Generally speaking, the bigger the star the nicer the person. It's the second-stringers, wannabes and has beens who are the right cunts.

I some met v successful ppl who were w*nkers.. and more who were confident in themselves and very gracious
It’s overcompensating for lack of confidence that makes many ppl act like prats

In the afternoon, which reflects on us I guess. 🤣🤣
The thing that struck us was the ordinary decency that is behind the celebrity mask.
I did the lighting for a famous pop star of the 60's, still touring.
I was told he was 'difficult', whereas he turned out to be lovely.
don't believe all you are told.
It's about the individual. Stereotyping is something we all do a bit as we look for patterns to explain what we see but at the end of the day there are pleasant actors and not so pleasant. Also there are pleasant SM users and not so pleasant!
Thanks for giving your take on this 😊
I've run boats for and sailed with a lot of people.
From ridiculously wealthy "successes" to the guy on a shoestring just trying to get his first boat home.
You can never tell until you sail with them.
That's when you find the character of the man or woman.
Maybe it’s how WE are to them?
