I recently had the experience of the last train from Exeter to Barnstaple's being cancelled, so the staff at EXD put all the passengers in taxis to the destination. It wasn't anything like as nice a journey as the train ride would have been.

As longs as we are talking about mythical forms of travel, if this multiple carriage vehicle is travelling along a fixed track. why not use some form of fixed electrical conductor the vehicle can couple too for its source of power?

Last I looked a bus carried between 50 to over 100 people, depending on the type of bus.
A car? 3, maybe 4...
As ever the Tech Bros reinvent existing technology and implement it in a way that is useless.

Our local busses, are a prime picture of designed to fail. Super expensive, little service on weekends, none on holidays, not sized smaller to fit less ridership routes. Smaller, privately owned would be more efficient imo. But that's just one small sample

And of course doing this privately misses out on the public infrastructure needed to make buses a great solution. No bus lanes, dedicated bus stops, or bus stops with dedicated pull-off area so that the bus doesn’t block traffic while stopped. And of course tickets are not subsidised.
