Some of those deaths might've been intentional, cos you don't become an exceptional artist unless the world is pushing you into extreme coping mechanisms that result in your greatness. When they see they can't change anything despite their best efforts, and there's a substance that ends that pain...

My nan never met a vegetable she couldn’t boil to death, was a passive smoker thanks to my granddad, and her only exercise was walking to the village shop. She lived well into her 80s.
