It’s a bit awkward for the Aust media to talk about this stuff, without knowing for sure yet whether it will or won’t affect Murdoch (his companies mostly pay no tax here) and the rest. They’re going to be unsure what tone to take when they don’t know whether their bosses will be upset about it!

If the new laws do increase Murdoch’s taxes (and our other oligarchs) they’re going to be unhappy about it, and if they don’t do that, and it let’s them keep their avoidance schemes, then they don’t want that advertised. Either way, they don’t want to talk about it. But it looks like a good change.

The privileged trustfunders shit canLabor . I don’t like Aukus and want more detail on how the Immigration bill will see Labor rounding up 80,000 people in the community. I will always support asylum seekers. Labor has passed some great legislation . Nothing in it for the privileged .
