well, yeah. Don't worry to much, people in the LGBTQ+ community are used to this crap. However, we wont stop fighting for our rights and dignity, and these setbacks wont stop us. Just as every fight by the regressives will eventually be lost.

I met Anthony Gray who ran the campaign resulting in partial decriminalisation in 1967. ‘It was a heavy slog and the results were limited but the first step’. Labour had a progressive Home Sec then who allotted time for legislation - can’t see that happening now. We will win but exhausting.

yeah Libery, I totally agree with that, progress or building up is an arduous process. Regression, or tearing things down is a much easier process. And for that reason, a lot of the public will simply choose the easier option; which is why it's so hard to push for real positive change.

I met Gray at the launch of his book ‘Quest for Justice’ 1992 also speaking was Peter Tatchell. Representing both ends of the political spectrum & ways of achieving change - but you could see they respected & liked each other & their achievements. A lesson for how we need to tackle the present.
