despite Orbans best efforts, the EU position is getting stronger already. the France & Poland deal offers a credible nuclear deterrent now, sans UK.

the UK are looking at a pro trump and pro putin PM in the form of farage, going by the voting intentions there. plus their tridents are not independent of USA.
Russia and the USA are talking about cooperating in the Arctic.
We're doing nothing to contain Russia. Thank goodness Ukraine is.
I hope it’s not just a matter of buying time for the sake of buying time, but that something will actually be done.
Leaders have to be making contingency plans in secret,
which is also a problem because the lack of transparency erodes already weakened trust.
Pretending that the US is still an ally prevents that from happening.
