It's frightening to listen to high schoolers on the precipice of a lifetime outside of school describe how they do not make meaningful choices at school, many don't even see the connection.

But it's crystal clear from their responses to this open ended question that students don't understand, don't experience, and/or aren't aware of agency & meaningful choice within the context of school.
